Sentinel-Online is an Amazon Cloud solution. Our web services collect, colate and store your data securely in Amazon AWS, making it available through Sentinel-Online's web portal and associated services.
This approach means that we can manage instrument, sensor, and project configurations remotely and perform your initial project setup and user administration for you, leaving you time to focus on what really matters.
Most deployments are also now entirely serverless and where required or preferred,
we can host and manage it for you off-premise. With no connection to
your existing infrastructure this simplifies deployment
and compliance procedures enormously.
Based upon your needs, solution configurations will vary. Multiple communications technologies are available to ensure that your sensors are able to relay their data securely to the cloud. These may include LoRaWAN, 4G, 868mhz radio and WiFi. Each have their strengths and may be combined with a range of sensor options.
In many monitoring cases, complete independance is possible using a combination of solar powered sensors with long-range LoRaWAN radios, a simple gateway and a 4G modem to manage your data on its way to the cloud.
